Baby E is getting on my nerves!

Here's an update on yesterday's doctor appointment with my ob/gyn. We did a thorough sonogram, and Baby E is still looking good. Her hydrocephalus has either maintained the same size or is slightly better. She now weighs 5 pounds 6 ounces - I'm still hoping we can make it to 6 pounds. Although it took a while to wake her up (she was enjoying a nice late morning snooze), we finally got her to move both legs. Hooray! And the sonographer saw good muscle development and a layer of fat in one of her legs (the other leg was hiding), which is good because that shows she's able to move it. One foot showed a slightly limp view, so please pray for no club feet! But even if she does have a club foot, they can do serial casting as well as surgery and therapy to repair it.

I have been having a lot of pelvic pressure and pain down my sciatic nerve, and of course my mom was worried I was going into labor. I have never felt this before because the boys failed to cooperate with the delivery process and were sunny side up. Apparently, this horrible pressure is normal and to be expected. Baby E is still really high (-3 station) and I'm not dilated any, so she should be able to hang in there until July 27. Until then, I just have to deal with the pain. So I've been joking that she is getting on my nerves - literally!

Please continue to pray for our sweet little angel!!!
