Baby E has been home now for two days, and she continues to do well. I have to admit the first hour she was here that I was petrified of her and felt like a first-time mom again. However, now we have gotten into our routine, and we are doing great.
The NICU got her on a such a good schedule, that we've stuck to it. I basically wake her up to eat every three hours. She transitioned to nursing perfectly, and she's such a good baby that after she eats she falls right back to sleep. (I've even managed to get in a couple of naps.)
E has also had two sponge baths since she's been home and has spent some time in the bouncy seat. She's so precious that she only cries when she's hungry. She's like a totally normal baby! My favorite thing to do is watch her on the video monitor - she's just so stinkin' sweet.
She has a follow up doctor appointment with her regular pediatrician on Monday, but we anticipate that she'll have a good check-up. Please keep up the prayers for breast milk (I'm still at 2.5 ounces), her cognitive ability and movement/sensation below the knees. Thanks!!!

Kayla, she is such a beautiful little angel! I am so glad everything is going so well and she is home with you. What a blessing! xoxo
